Generalizations of Pascal's Triangle

Poster: Generalizations of Pascal's Triangle

Research on binomial coefficients done as a research intern at the Undergraduate Research Summer Institute at Vassar, under mathematics advisor Professor John McCleary.

As part of a summer research internship, alongside an advisor and two other classmates, we investigated a variation of Pascal's Triangle. We named this the Henle Triangle after Professor James Henle (Smith College), whose work intersecting mathematics and art inspired this project.

The core concept was: What does Pascal's Triangle look like if the initial seeds are a and b instead of 1 and 1? What patterns can we derive from this variation?
